Welcome to Just In Case (justincaseimdead.com). By using this site or subscribing to our Premium Plan, you agree to the following.
What we offer
- Free downloadable planning templates
- Affiliate links to products on Amazon (we earn a small commission if you buy through them, at no cost to you)
- A paid Premium Plan: a guided planning experience, annual information checkpoints, Just Ask guide search, and a monthly newsletter
This isn't legal or financial advice
Our templates and guide search are tools to help you get organized. They are not a substitute for a lawyer, financial advisor, or accountant, and filling them out does not create a legally binding will, trust, or power of attorney. Please talk to a professional before making legal, financial, or medical decisions.
Subscriptions & payments
- Eligibility requirement: You must have a personal Google account to sign up for the Premium Plan. If you do not have one, you must create one in order for access to be granted.
- Billed quarterly ($29.99) or annually ($100), through Stripe.
- Subscriptions auto-renew until you cancel. You'll see a clear reminder of this at checkout.
- Refunds: once a billing period has started, it isn't refunded, except for billing errors (like a duplicate charge) or where the law requires a refund. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Price changes: if we ever change the price, we'll email you at least 30 days before the new price applies. You can cancel before then and won't be charged the new price.
- If we charge you in error (like a duplicate charge or wrong amount), contact us at hello@justincaseimdead.com and we'll correct it.
- If we discontinue the Premium Plan or a core feature you're paying for, we'll refund the unused, prepaid portion of your current billing period.
Just Ask guide search
Just Ask points you to relevant guides, but it may not point you to everything that applies. Review the linked guide before relying on it.
Your plan, your responsibility
Your plan lives in your own Google Drive or on paper. We never see or store what you write. Keeping it safe and backed up is up to you, and many people keep a printed copy as well.
Amazon affiliate disclosure
As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
Liability
We provide the site and services "as is," without guarantees. To the extent allowed by law, we're not liable for indirect damages, lost data, or lost profits, and our total liability won't exceed what you paid us in the past 12 months.
Changes
We may update these Terms occasionally. We'll post the new version here with a new date.
